It is curious, 500 years ago it was the Spaniards who came to these lands to bring the message of the Christian religion, and now it is also Spaniards who come to Chiapas to speak of "the true religion", Islam. The relevance of the introduction of Islam as a cultural, ideological, religious and political influence in the societies in which it is welcomed is that it has elements that allow us to have a different vision from the one we are conditioned by the dominant ideology and therefore its form of socialization, integration and self-conception differ from those already assimilated by our civilization.
